Tyrese Gibson doubles down on Morbius being set in the MCU

In a video interview with Comicbook.com, Tyrese flat out responded ” yes”, when asked if Morbius will be a canonical part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Morbius of course is a film produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel, distributed by Sony in what is meant to be the third film in the Sony Pictures Spider Verse. Its set to be released on January 28th, 2022 and stars Jared Leto as Michael Morbius alongside Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson. The film is based on the Marvel Comic Book character who becomes a living vampire after attempting a bizarre cure for his rare blood disease.
